PRICING

All pricing across www.missknitwear.co.za E-Store is based on South African Rand (ZAR).
Please note that our prices do not include GST or any import custom and duties charges. Prices displayed on www.missknitwear.co.za are purely for the garment alone and any applicable shipping costs are added at checkout.

*Please note that a conversion rate fee in addition to your order total. This is a rate is determined and applied by PayPal, not Miss Knitwear. If you can have concerns about this fee, please contact PayPal.

PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY

Please note that the stock of all items on offer is limited. Miss Knitwear will make all reasonable attempts to ensure that special offers are brought to an end when stock runs out.
If it happens that Miss Knitwear is unable to fulfil any order at the advertised price because stock is sold out, Miss Knitwear will let you know and you’ll be entitled to a reimbursement for the rand value you have paid for such product.

SHIPPING

Miss Knitwear does not operate over the weekend. As such, orders placed after Close of Business (Cape Town Time) Friday throughout the weekend will not be addressed until the following Monday morning.

We wish to provide our customers with fast and reliable international shipping and aim to have your orders to you within 3 – 10 business days from dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and are dependent on the courier company. They are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. Please keep this in mind if you are needing the item for a specific event and order well in advance.

We endeavour to pack and ship your purchases within 1-2 days of order placement. However, due to the hand crafted nature of our pieces, lead times may vary on certain pieces. We will notify you by email if we cannot proceed with sending out your purchase in the specified time.

All customers will receive a tracking number once their order has left our Head office Studio. Once the order has been dispatched, it’s the responsibility of the customer to follow up with the courier company on the status of the parcel.

Miss Knitwear does not take responsibility for lost or missing parcels once they have been dispatched with the courier.

ZAR100 Flat rate shipping fee for orders under ZAR1000 and free over ZAR1000.
REST OF THE WORLD
$30 Flat rate shipping fee for orders under $120

For fuss free delivery, please ensure you fill out your shipping details clearly and completely.
Please do not use PO Box delivery addresses as most local couriers cannot deliver to these locations.
We suggest using a business hours address where possible. If you wish for your parcel to be sent to a work address, we advise that you enter an address that is easily accessible to the courier – e.g.: Reception or mailroom.

Please remember to specify levels or unit numbers.
In the event the recipient will not be present to sign for the parcel, the customer may nominate for someone else to sign and accept the parcel on his or her behalf.
If no one is present a the time of delivery, our couriers will hold your parcel and leave an “attempted delivery” calling card complete with instructions on how to claim your parcel.*

Miss Knitwear will not be held responsible for parcels that are lost in transit or experience failed delivery attempts for any reason.

*Please note for our South African rural customers, our partnering couriers may take an extra 2-3 days to ship to outlying areas such as Kakamas and Hermanus.
Miss Knitwear takes no responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees that may be imposed during the importation into your local government.

TAX AND DUTIES

All taxes and duties differ between countries and states and therefore we are unable to provide estimated costs before delivery. These costs are made at the discretion of your local postal service and are out of our control.
While we will endeavour to inform all our customers regarding relevant import restrictions that we are aware of. Understanding such restrictions and the payment of any associated costs is considered the responsibility of the purchaser/receiver.

For further information, we advise you to contact your local customs office.

Shipping fees and taxes will not be refunded for packages that are refused due to tax and customs duties.

RETURN POLICY & PROCEDURES

However, we understand that if you are not satisfied for good reason and wish to return an item, please see below for details and instructions of Miss Knitwear return policy and procedures.

ONLINE RETURNS

Product sold to you from www.missknitwear.co.za is shipped from our Head Office Studio in Cape Town, South Africa. As such, Miss Knitwear products sold online comply with the consumer laws of South Africa.  When placing your order with Miss Knitwear, you automatically agree to all the information below.

Miss Knitwear has the right to refuse any return merchandise within reason. Items must be returned in original and unused condition with all tags/packaging attached and in sellable condition.

All sizing is One Size Fits All. Please note that our measurement chart is to be used only as a guide and that measurements can vary slightly from style to style and colour to colour due to the natural quality of the pure kid mohair yarn.

We do not accept any return requests on SALE items purchased online. All sales are final. No exceptions.
Custom orders cannot be returned.

Goods are classified as faulty if they are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described. Please note that items which were received in good condition but become damaged as a result of normal wear and tear, by accident or through misuse will not be considered faulty.

Miss Knitwear will require clear visuals (photographs) and a clear written description of the product’s fault via email to info@missknitwear.co.za within 7 (seven) days of receiving the garment.

All return requests require a Returns Authority request form. RA forms are provided once returns have been formally initiated and authorised via email and your Online Miss Knitwear Account.

Once approved, we will provide you with the waybill details the courier will give you. All details must be entered exactly as indicated and if any has been entered incorrectly you will be held liable for the courier fees.
All original packaging and tags must be included.
Successful return requests are eligible for a replacement of the same item or an Online Store Credit to be used at a later stage.

Our POS system is completely automated and Online Store Credits can be reimbursed to purchase items of an equal value. Online Store Credits can only be used ONE TIME and cannot be reimbursed again. Purchases made with Online Store Credits cannot be returned.
- Online Store Credits are valid for one year from date of issue.
- If you have made a purchase with mixed cash and Online Store Credits payment, you will receive an Online Store Credits valued to the cash difference paid only.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on our website. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be completely accurate.

We offer returns on certain items and monitor the number of returns made by customers. Continued returns will be flagged and may, at our discretion, lead to future orders being refused.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Shipping costs are non-refundable and all costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. Returns may only be authorised if the customer pays for all shipping and duties both directions.

The returned product must be in the original condition as sent with the original packaging and labels intact.

You are responsible for getting the product back to us.

Once we receive the product back we will evaluate the condition of the return and once authorised we will replace it.

www.missknitwear.co.za (“the site”) enables buyers to shop for items including scarves, shawls, capes, ponchos, cardigans and accessories manufactured and sold by Miss Knitwear (“the brand”) online.
All visitors to the site (“users” or “you”) will be able to see the products on offer, but only those who have registered for an account on Miss Knitwear (“miss knitwear account holders” or “you”) are able to buy.

BUYING PRODUCTS

The site allows you, the user, to place electronic orders (“order”) for one or more products on offer as long as such products are available and not sold out.
a purchasing contract (“sale”) between you and Miss Knitwear only comes into effect once you have fully completed and submitted the online order form for one or more products in your basket (“shopping cart”) and your payment has been authorised by Miss Knitwear (or has been received into Miss Knitwear’s bank account).
The above is dependent on the product being available.
Products on Miss Knitwear cannot be reserved to be bought at a later stage, and placing an item in your basket without completing the order does not amount to a sale or an order.
This means that Miss Knitwear may remove any item from your basket before the sale actually takes place in the event of the product going out of stock.
Miss Knitwear cannot be held responsible if an order has become unavailable by the time you try to complete a purchase at a later stage. The invoice for your purchase will be available online in the “my account” section on the site. A copy of this invoice will be included in your parcel.

CANCELLING AND ENDING ORDERS

Miss Knitwear reserves the right to refuse processing of payment for any order and/or to cancel any purchase, partially or completely, with notice given to you.
Miss Knitwear will be liable for reimbursing you the rand value paid only if you have already paid for the cancelled order. You have the right to return item(s) purchased unless otherwise stated

ERRORS

Miss Knitwear makes every reasonable attempt to display purchase prices and delivery costs accurately. If, however, the product is offered at an erroneous price (or an incorrect delivery cost is displayed), Miss Knitwear will not be obliged to supply products at the incorrect price/delivery fee.
Miss Knitwear will only be liable to return payment already made by you in the case you choose to cancel the sale once you have been made aware of the correct price/delivery fee.

PAYING BY CREDIT CARD

We accept payments made by Visa and Mastercard credit and Debit cards, as well as eft via our financial partner Payfast. when you place an order, the transaction details are presented to the Payfast for authorisation of the payment amount.

Credit card transactions will be acquired for Miss Knitwear via Paygate (pty) ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African acquiring banks. Paygate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely secure socket layer 3 (ssl3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Customer details will be stored by Miss Knitwear separately from card details which are entered by the client on paygate’s secure site. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
If authorisation is not obtained, the order is cancelled. If authorisation is obtained, payment is usually immediate. You guarantee that you are fully authorised to use the credit card for payment of your order and that there are sufficient funds in this credit card account to cover the costs of any transactions you complete on Miss Knitwear.

PAYING BY EFT

In the eft process, be sure to use your order number as payment references. note you have 24 hours to pay once you’ve placed an order. We’ll start processing the order once your payment has been forwarded to us, but depending on the bank it can take up to 3 days.

MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. transaction currency is South African rand (ZAR).

SECURITY

Anyone downloading or trying to download malware or damaging coding on this site, or who tries to gain unauthorised access to any page on this site, will be prosecuted.
Miss Knitwear will claim civil damages from such person if Miss Knitwear suffers any damage or loss.
You agree and guarantee that the username and password you use to log in is for your personal use only, and will not be passed on to any third party.

All credit card transactions are made using the payfast interface and are protected by ssl (secure socket layer) encryption and reinforced by various encryption processes with the aim of offering the most effective possible protection of any sensitive information. Miss Knitwear has no access to any confidential information regarding your payment method.
Only Miss Knitwear’s banking partner will access confidential information (such as your credit card number, expiry date, cvv etc.) from time to time.

Miss Knitwear is responsible for adhering to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) with the sale of any products from the site. Similarly, Miss Knitwear is responsible for adhering to articles 43(5) and 43(6) of the electronic communication and transactions act in terms of payment systems and security.
However, neither Miss Knitwear nor any of its representatives will be held responsible for any loss or accountability of any kind that arises from the use of (or inability to use) this site, its services or content.

Miss Knitwear may, at its own discretion, change these terms and conditions or any part thereof. If you are a registered account holder, Miss Knitwear will inform you of changes by email (to the address you use on registration). At such point, it will be your responsibility to read through the revised terms and conditions to ensure you’re satisfied.
If you’re dissatisfied, you have the right to terminate your registration on Miss Knitwear.
If you are not a registered user, Miss Knitwear will be unable to let you know of changes to these terms and conditions.

DISPUTES

Barring urgent or interim legal help that may be granted by a court of law: in the event of any disputes of any kind between you and Miss Knitwear, arising out of any situation catered for in these terms or conditions (or that arises out of these terms and conditions) and that cannot be resolved by the client service centre, the dispute may be presented for confidential arbitration.
Such arbitration will be handled according to the rules stipulated by the arbitration foundation of South Africa.
